Welcome

Hello and welcome!

I'm not the best writer by any means but I thought maybe that some of my fans might like to keep up with some of the things I do day to day. I also would like to look back and see where I started compared to where I'm at at the time. I figured this was the best way.

I'm a stay at home mom to a 3 year old little girl and an almost 1 year old little boy. I work watching one child in my home. I started Honie's Little Shop to not only provide reasonably priced products but to hopefully be able to stop watching other people's children so that I could enjoy random trips to places with my own.

I want to be able to go to the library whenever I want. Take them to picnics and other festivities around town. Unfortunately, at this time its really restricted. I'm hoping for that to change!

I got into sewing a few years ago. I was basically just looking to make some things for my daughter. I got the basic Singer Simple as a birthday gift from my fiance', his parents and his sister and her husband. It worked up until a few months ago. I then upgraded to a Brother CP6500. While my Singer worked, I LOVE my Brother. Its the best machine I've ever used (yes, I've only used the two, but I'm still being honest. haha)

I make basic things at the moment but am eager to learn. I have a few things I'm going to attempt to try this weekend if I get the time. If not there is always during the week when my little boy is sleeping as his birthday party is next weekend!
